  14. Guys one table at Golden Peony please. Uncle smart will be happy to buy our silence from aunty smarter.

I got to meet Russell today too. He thinks the group is cool. He thinks amongst all the names for Taukwa, "Taukwa" is the one that doesn't do him justice.

He thinks He-Man, Captain Marvel, Adonis, Renaissance Man or PR Man are much better. ; )

  15. Chey..just doing it for publicity only.Ego trip maniac.

  16. Dear Anonymous, I can understand your skepticism of the motive behind what the whole Ieat team did. But really if you had attended the session and seen the kids' smile and shouts for Aston "God Bless Uncle Aston! God Bless Uncle Aston!", even you will be touched.

We all had a great time but most importantly, we know the group made a difference in the kids' lives. Hope you can join us next time and see for yourself. : )

Les or the rest in the team who made this session happen certainly hve no ego issues.

  18. Got publicity and done for good cause. Can help more, better to have more publicity.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yep, the team discussed and felt that the publicity would be good to get other blogs and restaurants to come onboard to do more of such events to help under-privilege. : )

  20. anon - if you always choose to see the bad in any good deed, then ur life wld be pretty unhappy..

  21. Wah seh, Taukwa how can anyone not know u now; not only ieaters but 4million people in Singapore have seen your Adonis face...you better hide yourself for a week and every sentence in this blog's comment bears will be calling out to the famed Taukwa. Just wonder if Dr Les takes a count, Taukwa name will appear a million times from here....oops.

    Hi Russel....eh Taukwa better...hahahaha

  22. Ay, you all forgot about our Holydrummer doing all the hard work of recording the prices at the back! Or were you all mesmerized by the perfection of manhood in the foreground?

    ReplyDelete
  23. mooohahaha....ego ? that's an unexpected comment....

its too much work just for that isnt it ? to get sponsors, to get the kids to lido, to plan the burger, to plan the logistics.

would have achieved the same effect by just simply selling flags...mooohahahaa

what is most important is that something good came out of it.

the kids benefitted, and i am happy to know that they did. :)

  24. wah, this smoke screen super power leh.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yep, behind this giant smokescreen is lots and lots of hardwork.

Jencooks, you are right about Taukwa. He very very famous liao. I have sources telling me he may be leaving for Europe for 6 weeks to shy away from the publicity this article is generating for him. He's quite media shy you know? We await to see if this news that he is leaving for Europe is true or not. If its true, he really realy famous liao! Hahahhaha.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Taukwa, hide in Europe also cannot run away. With the power of internet, I wont be surprised someone comes to you and say, didnt I hear a lot about you in that Dr Les's blog....

Where's your manager, better train you how to handle the press but better how to handle yourself now...kekekek..seeing stars already>?

  27. Congrats, can eat good food and do charity at the same time

  28. anon: Chey..just doing it for publicity only.Ego trip maniac.

There is a saying that goes: When one do bad, people complain. When one do good, people also complain.

So might as well do good... :)

    ReplyDelete
  29. There is also another saying..do not accuse a man for no reason when he has done you no harm.

Cheers to the ieat team for a job well done
