Sunday Times feature on Food Blogs
Yesterday's Sunday Times featured an article on the impact of Food Blogs in Singapore and ieatishootipost has been featured for the very first time alongside Singapore's most well known food blogs. I could not have imagined this when I started to blog 7 months ago!
I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all ieaters for your continuing support for the blog. Your comments, emails and recommendations are a great encouragement for me to continue blogging! Its a buzz when I startup my computer to find a whole list of new comments, so please continue to write in AND don't forget to tick the "Others" box and give yourself a pen name if you are not already registered with Blogger.
I have been toying with the idea of organizing a makan session on a Saturday evening so that we can all meet up to EAT and MEET each other. At least you get to meet the people whose moustaches and mouths have been featured on the blog! Do let me know if you will be interested!
A very WARM WELCOME to all our new readers who have just visited the blog through the Straits Times article. Thank you for visiting and I hope you will find the information useful. You might like to visit the introduction to ieatishootipost to find out stuff like the mission statement, how to I rate food, why you should never waste your calories on yucky food and other FAQs.
For those who might not have the opportunity to read the article, here it is! Just click on the image to enlarge.

Well done!
I'm a Singaporean student in the UK, and it's great to be able to read about stuff (especially food!) from home. ieatishootipost's one of my regular daily blogstops, and like many others, your reviews help me decide what to eat when I'm back in Singapore. Keep up the good work!
Aye Aye ...
Then comes the "troublesome" bit about deciding what to go eat...
Haha, its good to see that more and more people are taking note to food blogs and appreciating what we do for Singaporeans greatest hobby.
Because of this ST's article, I have found a wonderful blog dedicated to yummy-licious food in Singapore. Some of the food mentioned are my personal favourite too. Keep up the good work!! :)
yes yes...looking forward to the makan session!
We book a venue and get the most popular hawkers from the blog to cater the food? : )?
Hamid's briyani is the first that will be on my list....hehe
thats a good suggestion..maybe can ta pau from each different stores..Each one..buy a few..
It will be wonderful to meet many of those who commended to ieat's blog. Then we can share our adventures on foods.
Conversely,
We could go eat the ieat stuff ?
Like the Ieat Burger ? / Ieat epok epok ....
OR we could just go and blind taste some stuff , then blog about it and rate it !
or could go re -rate some of the 4.5/5 foods...
(I will be just coming with my belly, to have some makan, )
Saturday sounds good !

Don't get me wrong.
Love your blog.
But I always feel that them journalistics (sic) are just plain lazy & uncreative when they start featuring something in the blogosphere.
Ok, I'm in for the makan session.

Cheers and thnaks for all the hard work!
