Underwater Ring Bubbles: Try it yourself!
Just thought I'd take a break from food to show you this neat trick!
In case you are wondering, yes, that's me in the video. And no, there are no camera tricks involved.

For those who want to try it, this is what you do:
Blow up your cheeks, pucker your lips (like you are trying to kiss a baby) and give a quick POOOOP! It's really simple. Seriously. This is exactly what I told my 8 year old son, and he's blowing ring bubbles after a few goes!

What's the trick to blowing the ring?
Just go POOP! I discovered it myself after seeing that it could be done. Keep trying and trying until you get it.
Can't believe a good food lover could have an equally good body. You must spent a lot of time in the gym trying to shed those extra pounds off after eating hawkers food huh?

That's cool. Pity the pool was so shallow. I've seen divemasters in Thailand blowing bubbles like these from depths of 10m and they last a VERY long time!
In fact they even challenged each other to see who has the 'hardiest' ring that can 'knock out' the others!
According to someone I spoke to, the trick has something to do with the tongue ...

I don't get it.. How do u go POOP.. U use your mouth to blow bubbles or just say POOP again n again?

I know how it's done, and yes it has something to do with the tongue! Learnt it from a dive trip also, but I'm not telling you!!! Wahahaha.... let you guys xin yang yang!!!!!!!!!!
yes yes i saw my dive instructor do it too!! it lasted at least 10 secs! lol

The tongue does not play any role in it. Just blow up your cheeks, pucker your lips like you are Marilyn Monroe and go POOOOP!
How is it possible to blow up the cheeks and "chwee du du" like Marilyn Monroe at the same time? I tried but cannot leh...

I assume a smoker who can blow smoke rings would be able to do this easily. And possibly vice versa too, except that windy conditions can make it more difficult to blow perfect smoke rings if one is outdoors.
