Best Food Find of 2007
I am sure that you all have found something good to eat in 2007 through reading this blog. So perhaps you would like to nominate your favourite food stall/restaurant that you discovered through this blog? If there are enough nominees we can even do a poll.

Everything is good .. so hard to just nominate a few.
La Pizzaiola @ Holland Drive. Jennifer was so accomodating to make me a three flavoured pizza - margherita + salami + hawaiian. Where to find, all for only S$14.90! Thanks Jennifer.
Hi. Just wanna say your blog is simply wonderful! With great details on the location, operating hours, the awesome pics (esp!), this blog is very informative. Keep up the good work! n_n

Appreciate the foody parts, but juz leave it at that and put out the hocus pocus part, thanks
pls note tat anonymous writers' comments r always not taken into account..
n wat do u mean by "hocus pocus part"? tis is leslie's blog, meaning leslie can blog whatever he likes. it's really none of ur "anonymous" concern, u know? leslie dun have to accomodate to ur request!!
I'd have to say... Hamid's! I've been going back there ever since I tried it after reading this blog...
Leslie,
why not include some of the less favourable places found in your foodblog as well to liven things up and allow inputs from the other end of the spectrum? Sometimes standards do drop as cooking personnel change or service standards become lax.
This will ensure that those recommended in your blogs do not become complacent and help to give you some feedback on your blog.
Agreed with Indigo - what about a poll for the most overrated place of 2007 or something?
This is not purely to shame the hawkers, but to remind them that they have to maintain standards if they want to keep their reputation.
Alot of places these days ride on reputation and hence serve substandard food, using their name rather than their food standard to sell......
Various breakfast stalls at Ghim Moh Market - Nasi Lemak ( with sambal, chicken wing, ikan billis and peanuts, cucumber ) and fried bee hoon ( moist and cooked in small batches so that it is always fresh) , Glutinous Rice with hae bee and peanuts freshly prepared by owner , Vadai , masala thosai , dry type of yong tau foo, kaya/tao-sah/coconut min jiang kueh, teh-tarik , tau huay made on the spot etc...
My regular haunt for breakfast these days..
: )
