Update on Lao Zhong Zhong
Just a quick update on Lao Zhong Zhong's new location.
I was there last week. Maybe it is just psychological, but I felt that it wasn't as awesome as when they were back in the old place. I think psychologically I am programmed to think that food served from an old coffeeshop tend to taste nicer then food from a modern food court.
Anyway the Ngor Hiang was still quite good and definitely better than the commonly available factory manufactured variety. 4.25/5
Conclusion
Even though not as awesome, they still remain in my list of places to visit for my Ngor Hiang fix.

hi.. i think shld be siang kuang ave instead of siang kiang... anyway, isn't that area affected by the construction of kpe?
I think the stall at beach rd prawn bee @ east coast near hk cafe still serves the best chestnut egg and ngoh hiang!
foodies, should really go give it a try when u feel like giving ur calorie a boost.

There's a ngor hiang @ boon lay hawker centre which is quite decent too.....
Thanks for the correction Bernard.
All these Ngor Hiang that the others recommended, I suppose that they are all handmade right? No point recommending Ngor Hiang that is procured from a factory

the ngoh hiang that was found at Boon Lay Market and Beach Road Prawn Mee are both from the same supplier ... they should taste the same.
Maybe the SCS should try the ngoh hiang at Beach ROad Prawn Mee shop ... and Dennise should try it at Boon Lay ... Ü
