Why "Good" Friday?
This is an edited video clip from scenes of the Czech movie "Most". The story is familiar but I never realised that it was made into a movie. For those who don't know the story yet, I don't want to spoil it for you, so just watch it and tell us what you think.
For myself, I can hardly bear to think what I would do in a situation like this.
Such is the extent (and beyond) of God's love for us when he gave his only Son to die on the cross on Good Friday. A huge price was paid so that this Friday can be "Good" for us.
Hope you have a blessed Easter and may you come to know the love of God in a deeper and more meaningful way.

The clip tugged at my heart and if the love of a father is a familial bond, the the love of our Lord is an eternal bond.

have u ever heard of the story that a group of kids playing in the train track and a kid playing on the open field?
There was once a group of kid playing at a train track which they know is dangerous and they are ignoring the "do not enter" sigh. There is another kid playing at the open field which is safe for playing (he is doing the right thing). a run-away train comes in, what will the train do? will the train run into the group of children becos they deserve it as they did not listen to warning? or will the train run off-track and hit the kid that is playing in the open field?
if u choose the kid in the open field, what wrong did the kid do?
If you choose the group of children, was it becos they did not listen to advise?
choices we have to make every single day. sigh...
there shldn;t be any playin fields or children near train tracks. period.
Should juz stick to the food part
thank you so much for sharing the video,
it really touched me and was a good reminder of what Good Friday is all about.
cheers!
God bless you.
(:
It's such a nice movie showing a father sacrificed his son for the sake of people he didn't even know. Our Heavenly Father had also done the same for our sakes.
a very good evangelistic tool...
