Dear Leslie, my friend and I really really really want to go for this, but I only found out about the session after I saw the entry on ur blog today and when I got into the forum, I found that there was only 1 place left! Please could both of us come??? (BashfulHunter has 2 pax on tentative so am hoping maybe he would back out???)

Ping - if you are the same hhuiping then you are in. you filled the last slot and your friend is the "extra". So he or she has to underwrite all the uneaten durians. no wastage! =)

Dear folks, this durian degustation session is now closed. Sorry, we have to cap the numbers to maintain quality of service and quality of durians for all ieat kakis.

why nowadays the blog less and less food review ah???
seems to deviate from its original cause...

Yes Sir, this is the same 'Ping'. =D Ping is just short for my full name. my friend would be more than happy to 'bao1 all the wei3'! She was delighted when I told her we have places. You see, I was so desperate that after posting the message on the forum, I came back here and posted another msg, just in case you/Leslie check in here before the forum. hee. I am covering all my grounds!!

sumosumo said...

yum yum..
as long as there are durians, we will continue to do so.... we will do the one next week, and if there are still good durains in the coming weeks, we will do one. maybe do a National day one?? that would be a good idea...

all come to eat durians in red and white attire.

attended this durian makan session. Enjoyed the very good quality durians and didn't pay through my nose for them. A real delight, in not only eating but also seeing so many like minded people enjoying the durians.

THANK YOU!

Hi..using my hubby's pen name cos I'm too lazy to sign up for my own.

I attended the durian degustation yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Have never eaten so much good durian in my whole life. Also appreciate the thoughtfulness of the organisers who provided us with water and tissues.

Would also like to express my thanks to Wa-Kao (?)who provided us yummy take home souvenirs in the form of mangoes!

Waragaw

It was great to see so many durian lovers enjoying themselves at the event.

My hubby enjoyed himself very much. He has been craving for durians since the beginning of the season.

At my table was an Eric who is such an expert on the varieties of durian. I met some interesting people.

For the first time, I tried Black Pearl, Golden Phoenix and Red Prawn. The first two are my preferred choices.

Thanks to the organisers, and Wakao for the mangoes. How nice of him to bring them all the way from Bangladesh. I love mangoes too. :)

I forgot to also thank wahcow or wahkao for very kindly providing us with the mangoes. Though I didn't have the luck to taste them, due to having too many durians, i appreciate the kind gesture.

Thanks!

Cactuskit, thanks, it was good meeting you too. see you

Miss the company, the fun and most of the variety of durian cos I miss the mark of registering early. When's the next session?
I cannot tahan and I went Pandan, JB for my own durian session; First time tried "TECKHA" durian which is of the bitter category; dry yet when you teeth sinks in, it creamy smooth and bitter...ooh.

ieat said...

Hmmm, maybe you can help organize one for us in JB?
