Battle of the Sexes: The Poll
I had a discussion with my wife about whether there were more male or female foodies. I think that I have always assumed that there would be more guys but I am beginning to realize that there are quite a number of ladies who read this blog! There is only one way to find out and that is to have a poll!
Let's see whether it's the guys or the girls that rule the foodie universe!

By default, there are more girls than guys. So guys- you can be more choosy about that girl you're dating....dont like her...hmmm...

Just casted my vote.... Realised there's more female foodies (according to the poll).....
However, it might not be that accurate because I think in general, gals will read and bother more to participate and cast votes ( just like going shopping, gal will bother more to fill up lucky draw coupons than guys)... whereas guys are more of "silent" readers? Unless there's something they feel very strongly about, then they will speak up.

The poll results are surprising... I would have thought there are more guys. But I would subscribe to liveyrdream's hypothesis....
Its early days yet. It could well be the guys will mount a late charge to take the lead! Come on you fellas!

I think the poll is believable. Even in real life, I know more girls than guys who are foodies. Somehow we are just more "tam chiak"! :D
There are also lots of girls who could be "silent readers" too. I was one, just happy and grateful to be reading this fantastic blog ever since ieat showed up on the makansutra forums. Only til the 3D photos entry did I start entering comments and voting in the online polls. I have to say, it's getting a bit addictive!
